After outraising Sen. Dan Gelber, D-Miami Beach, in the last quarter of 2009, there were whispers that Sen. Dave Aronberg, D-Greenacres, was the new frontrunner in the attorney general race. Aronberg outraised Gelber by $50,000 in the last quarter of 2009.

But any talk about Aronberg as the favorite has been dispelled. During the first three months of 2010, Gelber reeled in over $325,000 compared to Aronberg’s $260,000. Add to this the $670,000 he raised in 2009 and Gelber is close to having brought in $1 million for the race.
